BFC Group
BFC Group specializes in consulting for medium and large enterprises in the areas of management, financial operations and accounting. It is the latter area that brought this consulting firm into the TCPRO IaaS environment.
Challenge
Expanding access to systems inevitably leads to changes in costs. BFC Group encountered this problem while operating the server for the Helios accounting system. The company was looking at how to optimize the costs of operating the system and also for individual end users who access accounting.Solutions
If BFC Group had stayed with the current provider, the company would not have been able to change costs in any way. However, alternatives emerged in the form of the possibility of owning a physical server which would run the accounting system and the company would have to take care of everything. Then, of course, there was the option of switching to a competitor.
However, TCPRO came up not only with a design and infrastructure solution, but also with assistance in the form of a complete migration of Helios to CLOUDPOINT. Since the beginning of the migration process and in the early stages of operation on the new infrastructure, the cooperation was set to a very positive mode.
Although the migration was not entirely smooth at first, due to the number of SW and databases, the active approach of TCPRO technicians ensured that everything was ultimately 100% successful and the final live operation was launched without any obstacles.
In addition, the TCPRO team offered a helping hand with the operation of the cloud infrastructure, so BFC Group does not have to worry about anything other than business activities. Everything else falls on the shoulders of external technicians.

BFC Group was looking for savings per end user in the change, but it also gained a 40% reduction in the costs of operating the infrastructure on which the accounting system runs and complete care of the cloud environment. In addition, it has full control over the configuration of the environment and the benefit is a higher speed of communication with the accounting software.
Even though the new architecture brought a change within the VPN service, the different way it operates did not diminish the positive impacts this change had on the company.
